Establishment Card GDRFA – UAE Company Immigration Card
The Establishment Card (also known as the GDRFA Establishment Card or Immigration File) is an official document issued by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai — and equivalent authorities in other emirates. It is a mandatory requirement for all UAE businesses that sponsor employee residence visas. Without a valid Establishment Card, companies cannot process any employee or dependent visa transactions. GDRFA vs MOHRE Establishment Card
Many businesses confuse the two. The GDRFA Establishment Card is used for immigration transactions (visas), while the MOHRE Establishment Card is used for labour quota and work permit management. Both are required for companies employing staff in UAE.
