Renewing your Dubai Investor or Partner visa is now easier than ever. As of 2025, the UAE government has streamlined the renewal process through authorized Typing Centres and AMER smart service centers, eliminating the need for in-person Immigration visits in most cases.


🟦 Where to Renew?

If your company has e-DNRD Access

You can renew your visa through a Typing Centre using your company’s e-DNRD User ID & Password.

If no e-DNRD access

You can complete the renewal via AMER Centers. The entire process is handled digitally, including approvals, medical test uploads, and Emirates ID integration.


📝 Required Documents (2025 Updated List)

To renew your 3-year residence visa, prepare the following:

  • ✅ Original passport of the applicant
  • ✅ One recent photo (white background)
  • ✅ Emirates ID renewal receipt
  • ✅ Original medical test result (valid)
  • ✅ Valid health insurance certificate
  • ✅ Valid trade licence copy
  • ✅ Partners List (for LLC)
  • ✅ LLC Agreement copy (for LLC)
  • ✅ Immigration Establishment Card copy
  • ✅ Attested Partnership Agreement (for professional licences)
  • ✅ Service Agent Contract (for professional licences)
  • IBAN (bank account number) of the sponsor/applicant (for courier return)

🚚 Passport Collection & Delivery

  • ✔ If approved normally: Passport is collected by Typing Centre and returned via ZAJEL Courier.
  • ✔ If urgent: You can go to any GDRFA branch with the SMS approval for immediate stamping.

⚠️ Important Reminders

  • Visa renewal must be initiated before expiry (within 30 days of visa end date).
  • Ensure medical test and insurance are valid before submission.
  • Make sure Emirates ID application is renewed first before visa renewal.
  • No deposit is required during renewal.
